Alpina reintroduces the historic 1965 Tropic-Proof design, a true adventurer’s watch. During that era, transatlantic travel was becoming more routine, and timepieces needed to withstand varying international climates, including the extreme humidity of the tropics. With its ultra-robust case and emphasis on readability, this model laid the foundation for today’s Alpina watches. Crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel, the three-part 34mm case features a gloss-finish white dial, silver-tone indexes, and a minute track accented with beige Luminova dots. The hand-polished silver-tone hour, minute, and seconds hands are also filled with beige Luminova for enhanced visibility. Completing the design is a threaded solid case back engraved with a Heritage pattern, paired with a beige Alcantara strap featuring tone-on-tone stitching and a pin buckle.
